Women of Influence A woman of influence is...
• an authentic leader, an inspiring role model
• an extra-ordinary achiever, a catalyst for change
This award recognizes and celebrates the important contribution
of women’s leadership in changing our society. This award
focuses on the quality and impact of a woman’s achievements,
rather than the scale or seniority of the role.
A woman of influence is someone who invests time and energy to
help other women, and to advocate for change every day in their
workplace and their community.
These are the women who confront unfairness and don’t take no
for an answer, who identify what needs to be done, and then roll
up their sleeves to do it. A Woman of Influence uses her
considerable networking and communication skills to help shift
from the status quo to an equal, more diverse and vibrant Society.
A woman of influence is someone who doesn’t often seek to
become a role model but who truly is and makes a difference.
A woman of influence is courageous, passionate, tenacious,
focused, optimistic and agile.
